The orange stick style pusher is used to lift and push back the cuticle.
Once the filing pads attached, it will clean the free edge of the nail, remove leftover gel and etch the nail plate, getting into those tight areas a nail file struggles to.
The "ring" end is used for safe removal of cuticles from the nail surface.
